Tudu Mighty Jets FC played against the Lone Stars of Liberia in a friendly but a very competitive match this afternoon at the Lizzy Sports Complex.
The Lone stars raced to a 2-0 lead in the first half even though it was a fairly balanced game. The Tudu lads not wanting to go down without a fight, fought back strongly in the second half and in the process redeem one of the two goals through Jacob Quartey before he was substituted for Ibrahim Tanko to have a feel of the game for the last 20 mins.
The performance by the the Tudu lads was very good and to its teaming supporters who thronged the lizzy complex to watch them, it was a moral booster ahead of the Sunday game at the Teshie MATS Park against King Solomon FC.
Tudu Mighty Jets FC are third on the Zone 3 Division One League log and are looking to reduce the gap between them and the first two clubs after this weekend’s round of matchesd
