A difficult game it was yesterday.  The Tudu boys got an early goal by taking advantage of the only clear chance that came their way in the whole 90 minutes of play. You could not tell which side was going to win as the game was too close to call. Pure Joy showed determination to carry the day and they did everything possible to cancel Tudu Mighty Jet’s lead and possibly increase the tally but the Tudu boys would not bulge as they were in no mood to go five consecutive games without a win.

The game ended 1-0 in favour of the Tudu boys with goal scored by Isaac Mensah. It was his first goal in his first game of the season having been registered in the second window.  An excellent debut he had and if he is to play like that all through the second round, the Tudu boys could end the season on a high.

The supporters of the Tudu based club in the end had this to say ‘ A win at last has come our way and against no mean a side than Pure Joy FC. We can only hope that we could go the next 6 games unbeaten and hopefully become champions at the end of the season.
